Mr Bergman is a digital media entrepreneur, brand strategist and food writer with more than 20 years of experience from digital consumer advertising, commerce and content. As an advertising executive, he headed up strategic development for brands such as Sony PlayStation, Bailey’s and José Cuervo Tequila – creating multinational campaigns, commercials and digital initiatives during the dot.com era.
Mr Bergman also served as the Chief Content Officer of ContentChecked Holdings (publ.), spearheading the development and design of multiple food-related apps, as well as overall creative output for the company’s many brands. In 2011, Mr Bergman founded Honest Cooking, an award winning global digital media platform featuring thousands of independent creators, and some of the most inspiring food and travel content in the world. Honest Cooking has published over 15,000 recipes and stories, retains an audience in the millions, and has executed custom branded content campaigns for dozens of premium food-, wine- and destination-brands as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Unilever.
In addition to his experience in content and advertising Mr Bergman also has deep knowledge and experience from consumer trends and insights, from serving as a Global Strategist at Facebook IQ – the consumer insights arm of Facebook Inc., and as the Head of Insights and Trends for Relatable Inc., one of the world’s most successful influencer marketing agencies.
As a food writer, Mr Bergman has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, Gourmet Magazine, Serious Eats and The Huffington Post, and he has been a long term jury member of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
