Tristan Thremshnig

Tristan is currently Communications and Advocacy Director at WWF International where he works on one of the world’s most ambitious conservation goals – to double the world’s wild tigers. Prior to WWF, Tristan was Head of Global Communications for Greenpeace International, leading a team of media, digital, and marketing experts, and supporting high-profile global campaigns on climate action, plastic waste, and deforestation.

Tristan brings over a decade of experience in media relations, crisis comms, content strategy… and cutting through greenwash. He believes that NGOs play a crucial role as watchdog and in providing a way for citizens to take action and hold power to account. Originally from Australia, Tristan has worked in China, Mongolia, Amsterdam, and Jakarta. He now calls Hong Kong home.
